If you’re still hunting the waiver wire for viable fantasy players, congratulations! You’re still in the hunt for a title, and it’s a gauntlet to get this far.
Week 15 saw a lot of injuries and question marks pop up. Some teams had to start questionable QBs, and some teams are making personnel changes for Week 16. It’s important to pivot and stay fluid through the next few weeks. Let’s stay the course and make some moves.
For this week and next, we are going to keep this article simple and concise so you can do your own research. We give you the names, you make the decisions that are best for your roster constructio
We should caveat here: while these guys are often listed as viable pickups for multiple weeks, you can also view our QB recommendations as synonymous with streaming recommendations.
Also, yes, we are repeating the top 2 options this week. Don’t blame us for their performances…
After a rough first half, Browning lead the Bengals to a comeback win against Minnesota. He was right, they never should have cut him, and neither should we. His performance proves his a more than worthy streamer, but be wary now that he’ll be without Ja’Marr Chase.
Even with 3 INTs, Bro Flacco kept slinging the rock and got a dub for the Browns, who are firmly in the playoff race. The Houston matchup isn’t terrible, but you’re hoping Stroud clears the concussion protocol and makes this even more competitive.
With a workload that keeps increasing and an uncertain future for Derrick Henry, Spears may get to carry the load for a Titans team that’s already out of playoff contention. He’s got plenty of PPR pop for flex consideration.
Even if Mattison comes back, Chandler has been more dynamic. If Mattison is out, the volume will be enough to sustain Chandler. He’s looked so good, he should be the lead back in MIN at least for the rest of the year.
White admirably stepped in for Josh Jacobs as the Raiders absolutely boat-raced the Chargers last week. He’s volatile, but if you need a goal-line guy, White will probably handle those touches for the Raiders.
A 30% target share is no joke, and that’s what Brown saw last week with both Nico Collins and Tank Dell on the shelf. Collins should be back, which means Brown will have less intense coverage and good opportunity, even if Keenum is under center.
Whether it’s Howell or Brissett at QB, Samuel has overtaken Jahan Dotson for the 2nd option in D.C. He may also get the Deebo Samuel dual-threat treatment if Brian Robinson is still sidelined, and that’s upside you can’t get many other places.
Ja’Marr Chase is likely to miss the rest of the regular season with a separated shoulder. Thankfully, it looks like Tee Higgins is back, and Tyler Boyd will be the 2nd read in the offense. He’s a scary start, but Browning can support fantasy production and Boyd loves to provide it in PPR formats.
He scored his second career touchdown last week and is becoming a safety outlet for Jordan Love. Love needs all the weapons he can get, and Kraft has nice TD upside every game.
Bailey Zappe and Hunter Henry have one of those QB-TE mind melds that we love to see. Henry has put up back-to-back monster performances with 3 TDs in 2 games. We’re back on this train for the fantasy playoffs..
